Barrie Phillip Nichol, known as bpNichol, was a celebrated poet, visual artist, and performer whose influence on the Canadian avant-garde still resonates today. On March 22, 1979 he performed for an adoring crowd on the University of Alberta campus. Come listen in as bpNichol reads, sings, and exclaims from his work, including draft manuscripts from his unmatched lifework, The Martyrology.
